Carving Disaster

Our evening started off with not being able to find our carving tools. So, the daddy pulled out a kitchen knife and nails....

We opened them up and started pulling out the "guts"

put our "faces" on

Then used our nails (not an easy task) to punch holes in our faces

this is her serious nail punching face

then daddy carved/slaughtered the kids hard work. Poor Cinderella, her hair is ruined.... lol...

they boys were happy with their angry bird

Charlie's Mike however....... well...... let's just say he lost face... ;)

Poor Mike Wazowski

Pumpkin Patch Time

While in Desert Ville for Grandma's birthday, we decided to take a mega fast trip to SC and visit the pumpkin patch i grew up going to.... Only to find out how totally different it is and how incredibly H O T it was outside... We didnt stay long and raced for the nearest Starbucks when we were done ;)

Seriously - you would think my kids have never seen the sun before... Man was it hot...

I do like them.... I can't believe how big and older looking Char is getting... Kind of strange.

FAMILY "with the sun shinning right in our faces" PICTURE TIME
Then back at home we went back to the pumpkin patch we used to go to and had a blast...
There was Hot Chocolate, Donuts, Slides, Zip Line (that he and Coco went on)
Corn Maze, Popcorn, Apple Cider, Big Swing
Sling Shot Pumpkins, Flashlight Rings, Hay Rides, Pumpkins and GORDS!!!
SISSY'S!!!

Grandma's 80th B Day BASH

We took a quick trip to good ol' desert ville in Cali ;) to celebrate Grandma's 80th b day. So much family turned up - family i have never met - she had a great time.

 The prego girls with Grandma
I, along with 2 of my sister in laws are all due within a month of each other. The two other gals are married to my hubby's brothers and i adore them very much. There is 1 girl and 1 boy who will be arriving in Dec and 1 girl arriving in Jan. Can't wait for Easter to come and we will get to see these new additions.
This is Grandma. She is wonderful, sweet, kind hearted, emotional, lovely, caring, set in her ways, loves the Lord and very smiley. When my hubby and his siblings were young they used to refer to her and the smiling grandma. We still do ;)
Last Easter the girls and I asked Grandma questions about her childhood, her and Grandpa, her kids and other types. For her b day Bren (sis in law) created a book with old and newer pictures along with the questions and answers. It was so perfectly put together. So beautiful. Grandma loved it.
We then all wrote our little tribute to her along with our kids.
I can't remember exactly what the kids said, but Eli commented on her awesome house and her tortoises (she is who gave us Harry). Cora made a comment about her dolls (she has a wild collection of old dolls that are not to be played with (it drives Cora crazy) and Charlie..... huh.... maybe she's the one who commented on her tortoises... oh well, it was very sweet.
 The contributors to the book

Grandma telling her grandsons stories out of the book.. and getting quite the kick out of it.

Cora turned 5

We had a tea party for Cora's 5th Birthday.  Friends and Cousins came to celebrate with us. It was sweet and relaxing and memorable.

Our wonderful friend Big Becca made that little doll for Cora. It was way to precious and i do not allow Cora to play with it ;)

Coco and her friends. Plus Miss Larissa whom we L O V E!!!!

Our 5 year old's blinged out candle for her flower cupcakes..
Just a bit about this wonderful, yet sneaky little 5 year old.
She has always been wise beyond her years. She defiantly marches to the beat of her own incredible drum.
She has a very squeaky voice - in which she get's compliments on
(its very strange)
She is a cuddle girl. She loves her sister and very much loves her big brother and is so excited to be a little mom to new baby Addy.
She thinks she is capable to do pretty much anything.
She is stubborn and is a know it all.
She questions everything, which makes my life interesting.
She is kind. She is lovely. She is an animal lover.
She still has her princess blanket that the Inman fam gave to her when her Nana passed away.
She is big and is getting bigger - yet, she is tiny and petite.
She is convinced that she will never be married.
She has an incredible smile and loves to hug.
She sings and tells stories.
She has alot of questions about God.
She doesnt  settle on "knowing Him" because we know Him
She asks "Can you show me God?"
"Can you prove to me that He is real?"
She know's she can't say that she believes in God just to participate in communion.
She know's that when she does believe in God it will be HUGE
(her words)
We love and cherish this little lady so much. From the moment she was born with her perfect hair and her sweet face we knew that she was going to be something special.
A wonderful addition to our growing family.
Happy Birthday Coco Bean

Why, yes world........

we do not live next to an ocean, but we do have an aqarium ;)
and its not to shabby...
Over the summer we met our dear friends at Idaho's first ever aquarium. It was small, dark but, alot of fun.
Here Aron and Eli are checking out the fish they just fed

Here Eli is pointing to the fish that bites... We were warned to stay away from him..

Alex helping Cora - or more like convincing her to touch the sharks. I am sure she is explaining to him the danger that follows touching a shark.

 Eli finally got his shark.
and Cora got hers, in which Alex and Eli were congratulating her on
my pretty girls... among all the boys. they did enjoy the attentions.
Charlie's turn... She was throwing caution out the window and went in for the touch.. Alex was very supportive.

We miss you H Family.....

Char turned 3

In August our little Charlie girl turned 3 years old. It was very unfortunate that her party was after one of her swim lessons - but at least her day ended well. Cousins , Mr M and her dear friend Miss F came over to help us celebrate this remarkable little girl.
She captured our hearts from the moment she entered this world. Our girl with the hair of many colors now has blonde strait thin and fluffy hair. Her eyes have remained blue and her smile lights up her whole face. She thinks she is hilarious and claims to still be our baby. She is a mama's girl thru and thru - but is known for her moments of needing some daddy time. She let's her big brother hold her and snuggle her. She has quarrels with her sissy, but over all has a very sweet relationship with her. She is very opinionated. Knows what she likes and doesnt like. LOVES LOVES LOVES this sunflower dress and would wear it everyday if i let her. She is our peanut girl. Our littlest girl.
Our Charlie June Girl.
Miss F's family brought her a pinata filled with candy. The kids got a HUGE kick out of it.
yes, they are lined up by age :)

All the kids got a few chances to beat this donkey to death. Daddy on one side and Mr E on the other. They were super sweet to the littlest one's and not so kind to the bigger ones. It was alot of fun to watch those kids go for it.
 Sweet Friends
their mama's are sweet friends as well

Knowing that this little lady is 3 now is mind blowing. She has changed so much over the past 3 years and being able to watch her almost every move. Every thought. Every expression, has been so tender and so lovely. We are very thankful that our Lord has given us this precious (strong willed) jewel. We couldnt imagine life without this little lady and defiantly can't wait to see what the Lord has in store for her..
We love you Charlie June ♥
