WAAAHHHOOOOZZZZZ!!!!

Last week Gabe had a free night of no school so we decided to take the kids to Wahooz after dinner. Eli has been so many times and loves it, Cora has been a few but this was her first time knowing how to play most of the games and getting very excited over them - not to mention she is a huge ticket hog....

Look how big she looks here... playing the infamous popcorn game

This was Charlet's first time and she laughed and oooed and awed at all of the lights and sounds.. She to had a great time..
Eli makin his "free throw" shots... notice the form...... NBA here we come ;)
This was the most tickets Eli has ever earned on his own - he was very proud
All of the tickets we scored together
Cora draging them to the ticket machine, it was a very funny sight
This is Eli's favorite part and Cora showed just as much excitement.

The most tickets EVER in the history of the Heter Fam.

Both kids came away with some pretty good loot.... We had a great time and it was so much more fun with 2 kiddo's enjoying themselves... Next was the much needed "HAND WASHING"!!!!!!! LOL...... my mom told me to wash down the machines next time before the kids played - good advice mom ;) till next time...

Reformation Day

This is our 3rd year celebrating Reformation Day. We had so much fun bobbing for apples and playing musical chairs (which i havent done in ages). We had yummy stew, breads, chesses, and candy and 2 apple crisps ;). We listened while Uncle Bret read about Martin Luther and the 95 thesis and then we sang a sweet song that John Calvin wrote. My sister made her girls bonnets and aprons - Georgia didn't want her's so Mimi put it on Cora and she loved it. This has become such a fun tradition with our family. Enjoy the pictures ;)

Kenna and Cora being twirled around on the computor chair

The kids sitting and *trying* listening to Uncle Bret
Cora taking her turn at the apples... She thought it was pretty cool
Gigi showing the grands how its done.......

YEAH GIGI!!!!!

Sethie taking his turn.... i don't think he got one, but had fun trying over and over again
Kenna an apple champ - and Cora looking on...
Eli taking a stab at it.....

and he got one.... Way to go bubba

Then it was time for musical chairs.... sure, Papa had a hard time trying to figure out the CD player, the little ones were always safe, Uncle Bret decided the only chair he wanted was the comfy recliner chair, Eli would go around very slowly touching every chair just incase the music stopped and Sethie would run around the chairs like crazy.. Then it was finally down to Eli and Kenna...... round and round they went (along with Gabe, two little girls and Sethie ;) and once the music stopped Kenna was the winner - and before we could have any sad (loosing) tears, my sister announced "Dessert Time"... Saved by the yummies...Cupcakes and Apple Crisp and Apple/Peach Crisp was served

Happy Reformaion Day!!

Pumpkin Patch Time with the Jarillos

We had a wonderful time with the Jarillo's fam at the pumpkin patch we go visit every year. This unfortunately will be our last visit to this one - not to get into tall the specifics, but it does have something to do with people, so many people that there is a big time lack of pumpkins and something to with TOKENS...... but let's not get into that ;) Anyhow, my wonderful friend Katie and her husband and daughter just moved back here from being in Mexico for 2 years. She moved back there to marry him and since then they have been trying to get his visa to move back here.. They have been here for a few weeks and its so strange (in the sence of not having her here for so long) and so WONDERFUL!!!! I love you my sweetest friend and you wonderful family....

2 cute girls ready to go

The Heters minus 2 and the Jarillo's on the hay ride to go and look or not for some pumkins....

Eli and Cora fell in love with Fiona and Elias and Katie :) but mainly Fiona. Cora did say that Elias was her friend and that she wanted to sit next to him at lunch - not to mention she gave him a hug... that is HUGE - if you don't know my kid - she doesnt hug anyone outside of our family, but she was all into giving Katie and Elias hugs...

Cora facinated with Baby Fona *what she calls her*
Cora telling Elias that *Baby Fona touched her hand* and Eli given her some attention ;)Thanks Jarillo Fam for a great day with out the pumpkins cause of those stinken tokens that i won't talk about ;)

Last of the park days ;(

WE were kicked out of our house the other day so our Agent (my mom) could put our house on a tour list. We had a very nice day - it started with a yummy breakfast at one of our favorite old time diners, a trip to Target (always a good time) and then the park (since everyone was still at our house when we drove by).

this was Cora's first time going down the "BIG,HUGE" slide and even though she came out backwards she had a great time and did it again and again and again.

Now for pictures of Charlie, or in this post A picture of Charlie. Yes, her name is still Charlet but the past few days we have been trying out Charlie for "the" nickname of Charlet. Its working and may end up sticking - we shall see.....

Check out the hair people ;) and she's the only one with blue eyes. The other two had dark dark grey eyes that turned dark brown withing the first few weeks. Well this girl is 2 months old and they are still blue... LOVIN IT!!!More to come.......

Noah and Lilah GUEST GIVEAWAY!!!!

Noah and Lilah GUEST GIVEAWAY!!!!

SO SO SO CUTE!!!!

Cora's 2nd Birthday Day

On September 25th Cora officially turned 2 years old *sorry these are so late ;)*. She woke up a very happy 2 year old singing happy birthday to herself. We all got dressed and headed for the mall. Our first destination was the Disney store where she found a Winnie the Pooh cup that she wanted. Then we headed for the Build "me" A Bear store. She picked out a pink psychedelic bear with a heart nose, got it stuffed with some help from her brother. Then proceeded to pick out an outfit. Daddy picked out a pretty pink one that was going to be the one, but then Cora's eyes found a princess dress with a crown and shoes.. She was one satisfied girl.

Cora and Hearts

Here we are registering Hearts with my fun new earrings i got in the mail, made by my sweet blogging friend who also has a Esty shop with some more wonderful items.

She also made these braclet's for the kids. They LOVE them.

We them went out for Mexican food at our favorite restaurant Cancun's. Its Wonderful - they make fresh tortilla's right in front of you....

That night for dinner we had a picnic in the living room with home made pizza and cupcakes. They made a horrible mess - but it was all worth it for our sweet "crazy" 2 year old...
