We started the afternoon - yes afternoon, we slept in a bit from our AWESOME 3rd of July fireworks - with lunch and slushies from Sonics..
Then after much needed later naps we went to a park that was near the "BIG" fireworks and ate snacks and ooed and awed over the "BIG" fireworks....
It was perfect.... Just Us!

last year we tried to watch the fireworks from "near the park" but the trees were all too big. we couldn't see hardly any of them.
this year we went out to our friends' house out by birds of prey. we sat out on their back porch and watched ALL the fireworks in the valley! i don't think we'll do it any other way. it was spectacular!!!!!
