BUGS!!!

We are trying to teach Eli the difference between bad bugs (spiders, earwigs, centipeeds) and good bugs. We are also starting a bug book. Here are two bugs we have found so far. We take pictures of them and then look up their information on the internet and at the library. We are having alot of fun so far.

This morning we had a Praying Mantis walking up our back door. Ally was staring at her and wouldnt move so that's how we found her. We put her on a plate and placed her next to a tree in the backyard. She started putting her head between her front legs - which gives them their name.
