Bye Bye Magic Bullet

In January of 07, Gabe's mom bought be a Magic Bullet. I have wanted one for a long time - every since i have seen them on TV.

Just a side note - i am a SUCKER for info commercials. For example, i have purchased an ab roller a waxing kit and a rotisserie (all but the rotisserie proved to be totally worthless). Gabe thinks there have been more than 3 purchases - i am the one purchasing these items, don't you think i would know how many there have been.....

Getting back to the Magic Bullet... My mother in law found one on sale (i think at Kohl's - the best sale place EVER) and bought it for me. Well that was about the time we found out i was pregnant with Cora and the Magic Bullet found a very nice and cozy place in our garage. We just started using it about 2 months ago, making yummy "Gabe" smoothies and baby food (excellent for baby food and not to mention very easy to clean). Than all of a sudden it stops working.

Gabe decides to take it apart (not surprised, cause that's what you do when your a man and something stops working). It turns out the screws were shredding something important .?.? I'm your typical un - mechanical type of girl so my ability of explaining something like this is not so good. So here is a picture of what the screws were shredding.

He also went online and found out that NO ONE has liked the Magic Bullet, there were alot of complaints.

The biggest bummer part of all is that they do have a ONE YEAR warranty if you have the proof of purchase - but since I "WE" waited so long to actually use it, all we can do is throw it away... So Bye Bye Magic Bullet.

** Gabe just informed me that all is not lost yet. I will keep you updated on what this guy has up his sleeves for our Magic Bullet**
