Katie's Surprise Video Baby Shower

Some of you may know that we threw a surprise "video" baby shower for my wonderful and dearest friend Katie. She got married to a wonderful man who lived in Mexico and they now live there. She is pregnant and is due in Jan. We were so bummed that we couldn't throw her one so a sweet friend had a sweet idea - "let's throw her a video shower". Perfect!!!! I made and sent out invites with a lot of help from the Auntie to be... Then it was brain storming time.
We decided to have a chocolate fondue party. The chocolate fountain was an enormous hit, with all of the yummy-ness to go along with it.


The table was beautiful and colorfull - full of the yummy-ness foods to dip in the delectable chocolate.
We had a sort of game... "Guess Baby Jarillo's Gender, Due Date and Weight". We will see who the winner is ;) come on lucky number 20, 8'4 and boy....... oh wait, i can't win... So its all up to you my dear friend ;)
the "spa" gift table was beginning to fill up with fun surprises for the beautiful mamma to be.the gals were starting to gather around the overflow of chocolaty goodness, spear and treat in hand.

the plates were being decorated and the food was disapearing like crazy.
there were onesies being stamped and painted (i was video taping that part so there are no pictures) then it was time to open the gifts.. yes, we opened up her gifts in front of the camera so she could see what she got and who it came from..... or better yet, so we could see what she got and who it came from... Someone had the great idea , instead of opening up the gift you brought - they were handed out to someone different and then opened. That way it was still a surprise.
