Eli and I were invited to a Stone Soup party. If you have never read the book Stone Soup - you must :D
It started out with a reading of Stone Soup
Eli and Jonah listening carefully :D
Then it was time to set out all of the ingredients (minus a few, which will be added later)
This is when the kids were asked "Who thinks the water goes in first?"

then they were asked "Who thinks the stone goes in first?" Obviously Eli could not make up his mind.
Once it was decided that the stone goes in first, it was then time for all of the kids to put in the ingredients that they brought. Eli brought carrots.
After all of the ingredients were added, the stone secretly removed and the water and seasonings were added, the kids went to play while it cooked and then it was time to eat.
They also got to decorate sugar cookies with some very yummy frosting and fun sprinkles.
