Some Random`ness

Eli our 5 year old wants a brother so badly he can taste it ... So a few weeks ago when i was putting him to bed he asked me if he could pray that God makes this baby a boy. I told him that God has already made this baby a boy or a girl. That we can't pray for that anymore - what we can pray for is that God makes your heart happy with whatever it turns out to be. He knew he had to be okay with my answer - even though in his heart of hearts he is still secretly praying that this baby is a boy. Which is why we have decided to go ahead and find out. Our (my) plan was to not find out - we already have a boy and girl and we were going to be thrilled beyond on whatever God decided to give us. Because Eli is so concerned we though we could give him a few months to get used to the idea of having either another sister to look after or his first brother.

Our appointment for this blessed event is April 1st ;) That's right April Fools Day. I do not like April Fools Day. Not the day itself but because of what certain people like to do to other certain people on this horrible "holiday".... I am not all about the fun when it comes to practical jokes.. Especially when its at my expense.... Anyhow, we are taking Eli with us and leaving Cora with Mimi..... We may need an after revealing treat if it turns out to the a girl ;)
