Cora's 2

2 years ago on September 25th, 2007 at 12:47am our precious Cora Elisabeth came into this world. It was a very long day but well worth the wait... She weighed 7lbs 11oz and was 19in long. She had dark dark blue eyes and lots of dark hair *just like her brother did*. She was perfect. Our first little girl and both Gabe and I couldnt believe that she belonged to us.



On September 25th, 2008 our little Coco turned 1. Papa Heter, Aunt Bethie and Emma came to visit and to celebrate her birthday with us. We had a small party with our family and our dear friend Brittany. Uncle Bill was there to. Cora celebrated her 1st birthday with her Uncle Bret who she refers to as "My Bret". The first of many many many to come.Now on September 25th, 2009 our sweet and sassy girl will be turning 2 (going on 12). In exactly 1 hour 2 years ago i delivered this beautiful - then dark haired - little lady and now she has proven to be one of the funniest, sweetest and craziest girls around.
She keeps us on our toes constnatly and keeps us laughing through out the day. She talks, holds converstaions with you and can count to 12 now - which she is very proud of. She loves to make up songs and loves it when Gigi and her daddy sings songs about her.

She loves to dress up, wear pretty dresses, have bows in her hair and wear necklaces and braclets. Loves to play with dolls, loves her princy (princess blanket) her flamingo blanket (that katie made for her when she was born), Baby Mimi, loves dogs, water, flowers and acts as though she is terrified of bugs when she secretly loves them.

She will tackle you if you lay on the floor, she is a dare devil and has to try everything - especially if her brother or cousins can do it. She is our "Coco O'Hara", she is dramatic to the core. She is a daddy's girl, loves her brother and absolutly adores her new sister.

Her favorite person in the world (besides her daddy) is her cousin Kenna, who she calls Nenna. She is our prayer police. She reminds us to pray over everything and for everyone, which has also become a way to delay going to bed, she always makes sure we pray for her cousin Sethie as well .

She loves to sing Jesus loves me in her scary voise..... very strange, and Twinkle Twinkle, loves the word Catastrophy and uses it every chance she gets. Loves the phrases "I can do it" and "I'm sad". Reminds us daily that she is a big girl even though she still wears diapers. She is funny, sweet, loves "huggies" and kisses. Screams like a banchy and most of the time its just to get her brother into trouble.

And last but not least, she is ours and we are so thankful to the Lord for giving us this "Crazy Cora" to love and to raise - full on knowing that raising her would be a huge challenge if we didnt have the Lord with us.

So Happy Birthday our wonderful and beautiful Cora girl.. We love you with all our hearts and thank the Lord everyday for having you be apart of our family.
