I realized that i did not do a post about Charlie's 1st birthday party which was in August and
Cora just turned 3 and had a sweet little party as well, so i am going to do one post on both girls to save me time ;)
First up, we have Charlie - just so you know how we say her name ;) we pronounce it Sharlie - anyhow, this sweet wonderful blue eyed little gem turned one on August 17th. We decided to throw together a little party which surprisingly enough everyone wanted to be apart of. We felt blessed beyond words that so many people wanted to join us in celebrating this little lady's 1st birthday. I made cupcakes and we had pies... We had fellowship and we laughed. Then as the night grew later and people left, a few stuck around and we had a prayer time. We expressed problems that we were having, concerns and needs. It was the perfect ending to this already perfect day. Now without further ado - pictures ;)If you have never heard or seen these bizarre looking toys - YOU ARE SO MISSING OUT! They are a hoot... Yes, a hoot... Seriously, go to Target (cause everything is at Target) and pick this guy up or anyone of his friends and go crazy - then buy it cause if you have a little one, they will think you are awesome ;) ok, moving on...
Here the game... see, awesome in true form...
she was the only one protesting to not wear the blindfold.. after all she was the birthday girl.
Her sweet friends
Check out the blue eye's on the beautiful face...
The princess was in a "No pictures Please MOM" type of mood.
Here is my brother in law about to bite into the bacon maple cupcake i made for his b-day.. First bite was to try it, next bite i am sure was just to please me - then we threw it away and grabbed a princess cupcake... It was the thought that counts - right ;)
Cora with her handmade gifts by the D Fam who we love and adore with our whole hearts...

I wish I would have gotten her present out in time...but I think I'm going to save myself some postage and give it to her in person when you come down :)
Thanks ;)
I think that is a fabulous idea.. besides, beth's daughter emma is having a princess party as well - so she will be able to wear it.. she is going to be so very excited..
Um, apparently I thought I'd already seen this post but I guess not since I'm seeing it for the first time today. Love the pics. They were such great parties. You're a good mama. Love you!
