SLEDDING TIME

My family rented out a cabin in the mountains for 3 nights and 2 days for Christmas. It was such a wonderful idea and we had a marvelous time. The cousins thought it was so great to wake up to each other and to be able to celebrate Christmas together.

Our cabin was enormous. It had 3 levels. We had the bottom level which was a whole "apartment" type room all to ourselves. The middle level was the dinning room and huge kitchen. The top level was the living room, 2 bed rooms, 2 bathrooms and the other bottom level (on the other side of the top level) was the master bed room/bathroom. We all fit perfectly. We had wonderful meals and fellowship, games and singing. We sledded, went ice skating, laughed, opened gifts from each other and then played with those gifts. We created sweet memories and hopefully we will be able to do it again in a few years.

The below pictures are of our first day.

The first morning and the first time the cousins saw each other. They are so sweet.

The dad's and Papa bundled them selves up to take the kids out for the "first" day of sledding. The "pecking" order if you will.

The road outside of the cabin was pretty big and made for great sledding. We didnt even have to go any where. Once they were done, they came it. It was perfect.
Cora received the Princess treatment. She would ride down with her daddy and he would pull her back up.

Georgie decided she needed in on some Uncle Gabe sledding action.

Papa even had some great runs in.... he was so fun to watch.
