Meet sweet baby Patience Abigail. She was born on the 6th - so yesterday and i had the privilege of being apart of my sister's day and waiting and watching as this beautiful 6lbs 6 oz and 19inch long dark haired angel came into this world. My sister is a champ, she delivered Patience as home *this was her first home birth*. She did a remarkable job. She was calm the whole time and once a contraction would pass she would talk some and smile. She was great. This was my first experience as well and the whole time I couldn't help but thank the Lord every time a smile would come to Kate's face. I found my self praying a lot, thanking Him for this great amazing thing that was about to happen. I was also nervous as well. Kate and Bret decided not to find out the gender of the baby. They wanted it to be a surprise since she was going to have a home birth - something more to look forward to. The moment she came out you knew from just looking at her face that she was girl. Not to mention she looked alot like her eldest sister. I told Gabe yesterday that i feel like a kid who just received this awesome new toy and can't stop talking about it. Its totally different then having your own. This was an experience i will never forget and will more then likely be that Auntie who constantly reminds my precious niece that i was there when she arrived....

BABY FEET!!!

MORE BABY FEET!!!
All of Kate's baby's are bald, so imagine our total surprise when sweet baby patience came out with a full head of black hair....
Eli and Cora both said hi to their new little cousin, but Charlie wanted to grab her and run. She wanted to poke her and grab her. She was so curious about this new baby... And after that she instantly decided she was no longer the baby and stared walking.... Pics of that to follow ;)
