May Birthdays and some pretty cute girls

In May we celebrate my mom's birthday and my sister's birthday (we celebrate Aunt Bethie's b-day's as well, even though we don't live near her ;) On Mom's b-day she wanted to go to her favorite restaurant down town after church. We were a little hesitant at first bring our kids (esp the little one) to a nice place, but to our pleasant surprise they all did fabulous... We all ordered something very different - Eli was all grown up and ordered roasted chicken with vegi's - he's a strange one ;) while the girls shared a grilled cheese and fries. After lunch i mentioned that it was mom's b-day and she was brought a very yummy berry dessert.

Yup, she enjoyed it ;) It was a fun day celebrating the amazing person my mom is.
Then later on that week we had my sis and her fam (including in laws) over and had a dual b-day celebration for her and mom - which is what we usually do. This was also my first time ever making a carrot cake.... me, not being a fan of carrot cake was told that it was yummy ;)
THEN!!!! IT WAS PATIENCE TIME!!!!!
