This morning right before Eli were going to start our reading, Cora started to cry. I told him that we will start reading right after i check on Cora. Then Eli started to head for her door. I stopped him and asked him what he was doing. This is how the conversation went:
Momma: Eli, what are you doing?
Eli: I am going to check on Cora.
Momma: No Baby, i will go and check on her.
Eli: I can do it.
Momma: I am sure you can, but let me do it - your still a bit to young.
Eli: But look, i'm 4 (holding up his 4 fingers)
Momma: I know you are, but i'm the momma and i will go check on her.
Eli: Ok, just wait till i'm 5 - than i can do everything!

wow is this a new-fangled template or did you design it yourself? Fun! Finn and Calvin always beat me to checking on Ollie..normally one of thme hops in the pack-n-play with him and read him a book.
And love your little tribute to Cora--so cute in her flamingo dress! And Eli's plane is so cute. We have one Finn drew with a bazillions windows:)
