Our 1/2 year old girl

On March 25th, Cora turned 6 months old.
She is completely and utterly unique. She will only laugh when she thinks something is funny. If its not funny - than you get the look (just ask my mom, who gets the look often)..... She hates being on her belly (don't let the sweet grin below fool you), she will not stand up, she falls over pretty easily when we have her sit and she does not like to be held all the time.
Typical Girl? I don't know, you tell me...
She loves to sleep in her bed and her bed only. She just started sleeping on her side - which is one of the sweetest things.
She loves it when i play dress up with her. No matter how many outfits i try on her she always has a smile on her face. Its like she knows i have been waiting for her all my life. The outfit she has on was from my mom. She gave it to me years ago secretly knowing i was someday going to have a little girl. However, its 3-6 months and still to cold to be wearing anything like this. So we play dress up!

** Notice the flamingos all over it**
She also loves to eat. She is still nursing but is totally digging the baby food. I make most of my own - and every time she hears the magic bullet go off - she knows it dinner time. She has sweet potato all over her face.
Cora has become a joy in my life. She is the perfect addition to our home. She LOVES her big brother who can always, always make her laugh and is smitten with her daddy.

Yes, she does have the craziest hair around - is very impatient - absolutely refuses to pass the 6 month old mild stones and has some pretty severe stranger anxiety. She is our perfect little girl who we thank the Lord for every single day and wouldn't trade her in for the world.

Our prayer to you my girl, is that you grow up sweet and lady like who loves the Lord your God with all your Heart and with all your Soul and with all your Strength.
