Our wonderful friends and Eli's best friend made a stop by our house for a night before heading to their final destination. I made the mistake ;) of telling my kids they were coming and all day long yesterday they asked in anticipation when they were going to arrive. They showed up sometime after 5pm, we got to visit a bit with baby Addie (who is one of the most adorable 6 week old i have ever seen) , we ate pizza, the boys went back to Eli's room to do some serious Calvin and Hobbes reading and much needed boy star wars time, the girls went back to Cora's room to play with some dolls (which Cora was so excited about) and the parents talked and ohhed and ahhed over the new baby. Then the bigger boys went to see Gabe's garden *which he came back with a whole bag of lettuce and was quiet proud* and to get some much needed sweets. It was about 9pm and we decided to spend some time out front *it doesnt get dark here till 10pm ;)* and let the kiddo's get some energy out before bed. Eli and E got to have a sleep over while poor Cora had to go sleep in her bed... she so badly wanted to sleep on E's thomas *choo choo* sleeping bag....
We woke up they got packed and we all went out to breakfast. Cora absolutly adored this little blonde ringlet sweetie. She would give A hugs and hold her hand. They played so well together and are so much alike.... I see the beginning of a beautiful friendship... to bad they live so far away.

The bestest of buds right here
