Christmas, Christmas Time was here ;)

On Christmas Eve we went to our church's candle light service where Eli and Cora were asked to hand out the candle's. Eli took his job very seriously, making sure everyone received a candle and making sure everyone was greeted with a "Merry Christmas". Cora got alot of compliments on her dress *vintage/thrift store ;)* and was told what a great job she was doing. After the service - after Eli was very disappointed that he was not aloud to keep his candle - very disappointed - a friend of ours gave us a snowman bag with some goodies in it for our family. We were so taken back by this and so touched. We let the kids open them up when we got home and they were so excited. Not to mention Gabe and I received a dinner and a movie gift. I am still moved by how sweet these friends of ours are. Thank you dear friends...

Cora's pretty Christmas dress and her new pony named rainbow

On Christmas morning my whole family went downtown and delivered cinnamon rolls to a homeless shelter. My mom and her best friend have been making cinnamon rolls for over 30 years on Christmas Eve day, delivering them to friends and family. This year we all decided we wanted to do something different and make new memories for our kids. We also plan to do more of this type of thing throughout the year as well... It was a great opportunity for Eli to see that there are people who don't have anything. Who have either lost there way on there own or it was taken from them. It brings tears to my eyes seeing and knowing that there are families/kids out there, in our city who are needing so much..

Our kids did pretty well with the gifts. They recieved money from Great Grandma P, gifts from Wendy ♥, from Aunt Bethie and Uncle Kurt, gifts from us and Eli got the "Most Awesome Gift Ever!!" from Uj and Auntie.....

Here is Eli's face when he opened his gift from Uj and Auntie - Eli's facial expressions are priceless. He always show's so much joy with everything. Its his sweet heart.

Cora recieved a princess dress and jewlery from UJ and Auntie and needed to wear it while playing with her new play doh set from Aunt Bethie and Uncle Kurt.
After some much needed rest time, we got dressed and went over to Gigi and Papa's house along with Mimi, Uncle Bret and the cousins. There we had some very very yummy food and right before we were about to open gifts Kenna decided she needed some Uncle Gabe time - then they all decided that was a good idea.

My sis, who by the way is so talented in everything she does - made this quilt for Charlet. It was so perfectly done and even though Charlet can't appreciate it yet, it made my heart skip a beat.
She also make Cora this beautifull princess dress and crown.. That's right - MADE.... told you she could do anything...
Then had desserts and the kids made ginger bread men

This is our Sethie.. He is as sweet as he is handome. I love this little boy. He usually does not take very good pictures... but once in a while you get something like this that makes your heart melt.We hope your Christmas's were just as wonderful and that you felt as blessed as we did. Blessed be the name of our Lord.
