New Years EVE!!!

We started out our usual New Year's Eve bash wish some wonderful to die for fried food and some not so fried.

Mom blew up some balloons for the grands and tried to create a game for them, but all they were interested in doing was throwing them around.

Mom and Dad also bought hats for the grands to decorate, which turned into a huge hit.

Charlie girl even got one

** like my nursing cover?? a friend makes them and you can check them out on her etsy site ;) how's that for a plug?**
then after the littlens went to bed *Eli and Kenna had the privilege on staying up - lucky kiddo's* Dad introduced us to a fun game called "Left, Right, Center" or something like that. Anyhow, you come into the game with money... dad was so kind in to letting us all "borrow" 3 quarters from him.... you roll as many dice as you have money *so if you had 3 quarters you roll 3 dice, 2 quarters 2 dice, 1 quarter 1 die - you get the idea* and each die has either a L for left, R for right and C for center. Depending on what your die says you either have to give a quarter to the right, left or center - in my case all 3 at times ;) the person with the last quarter would usually win the pot, but since we were only "borrowing" the money from dad ;) we decided to play for........

SCRATCHERS!!!!!
We started out with 25 scratchers and won a nice chunk of change, then the boys *ie, Gabe and Bret* went to the near by gas station to turn in our winnings "along with some extra money" and get some more... this process occured about 6 times. We were obsessed, we were out of control and we kept on winning.. it was nuts. Finally when it was getting close to midnight and the boys came back the final time we won a total of $8... A lousy $8.... we werent really bummed, we were more exausted than anything else.. The $8 went to Bret (my bil) for gas money ;) not to mention Kenna originally won $4 in the first round and it was only fair to let her have that.

Midnight was approaching and so we turned on the TV to watch the ball drop
(does anyone else think that Dick should call it quits???)

The night was over - we were all so very tired and were blessed that we got to spend another new year's eve together.

Me and my sis who i love so very much...
