Our Sweet Easter

Our Easter started out with some hats, gloves a bit of hair curling and 1/2 smiles... We headed over early to our Church breakfast which we enjoyed with sweet friends.

Eli and Cora went up front to do our Church's annual cross decorating. Eli remembers this every year and is always so excited that he get's to go up by himself. After a sweet and convicting message by our Pastor on the death of our Savior and the His resurrection. On our salvation, how HE died to set us free from the bondage of our sin. We were invited over to our Pastor's house for some wonderful fellowship, food and egg hunt.

Charlie and her friend Ari
Someone brought big eggs - one for each kid - with a car in it. Everyone found one except for Eli, he was busy getting all the egg's the younger one's couldnt get. Markus decided to help him out and direct him to where the last car egg was.

The daddy's "hid" all the eggs. By hid i mean spread them all over the grass with a few here and there ;)

Then we went over to Gigi and Papa's house to have dinner with them, my sis , bil and sweet nieces and fun nephew. Gigi bought a Easter book to read to them - which we have ;) and which Eli asked "Why can't we see Jesus's face?" Gigi replied that we don't know what Jesus looked like, so the author of the book didn't want to guess. If you have not read this book - do, its very sweet. Gigi and Papa also gave the kids Easter gifts. The boys got foam airplanes which they were given premission to fly inside of Gigi and Papa's house, the littest girls were given princess pruse sets which they took full advantage of and our Kenna girl got a brand new tea set to have at her tea birthday party - which i am very excited for ;)
It was a GREAT Easter, filled with the Word of our Lord, Friends and our Precious Family. Thank you Lord for all you do, for who you are and for what you have done to have us be together in your Love.....
