Our "Weekend" Away

These WONDERFUL friends invited us to stay at her family's cabin up in Cascade for 2 days and a night. We had such a great time. Between a down pour of rain, then the biggest snow fall i have ever seen. Gabe trying to identify all of the birds, mexican train, God's and General's, oven smores, being smacked in the face while trying to sleep next to a 2.5 year old, popeye, bug's bunny, jetson's , some RADICAL sledding and my first time witnessing someone actually order liver and onions - toss in some pretty cute kiddo's and one princess = a pretty memorable vactation.

Then we headed back to get warm and packed before experiencing the said liver and onion order....

This was on our way back. I made Gabe pull over, i got out in the freezing cold, crossed the death defying road, trudged through the slush and snow just to get this picture... i like it ;)

We were in awe of how many perfect tree's there were.. Thanks J. Fam - We love spending time with you and can't wait to do it again ♥♥♥
