I know its almost November, but since we have been a wee bit busy around here - might as well continue where i left off - yes?? Ok!
For the past 2 years now we have celebrated the "4th of July" on the 3rd and the 4th. On the 3rd we invite friends and family over to my parents house - eat good food, enjoy wonderful fellowship and then as a right of passage - if you will - to be apart of our "3rd of July" you must bring fireworks... While us ladies clean up - get the kids ready and continue to talk - the boys (the big boys) are organizing and arranging their firework display. There is a method to this madness and it always turns out fabulous (with a boo here and there ;) because of one not working or the boys trying to light us all on fire. This year it headed strait for some girls)
Overall it is one of my favorite holidays.
Then on the 3rd of July we pack a picnic and head over to a park where we can see the BIG fireworks put on by the city of Boise.
