Our 4th of July

Our 4th of July started out with a little air plane flying at the school. Gabe made some fantastic loops with his - which were caught on video and will be posted for anyone who want's to see them after this post - plane and then Eli got to fly his a couple of times before his battery ran out - which will also be posted -. Then it was back home for some baking and an attempt to have the kids take naps (which didnt go really well ;(.

We even had baby races - and a cheater ;)

(it doesnt get dark here till 10pm)
The Guys first attempt
(it may just look like fire now but wait for it....)
THERE IT IS!!!!!!
and more......
They bought one that shot up high in the air and when it exploded parachutes came flying out which landed everywhere.. Eli was totally impressed and thought it was the coolest thing he has ever seen... 5 came out at a time and only one landed in mom and dad's backyard... Who know's where the other's went to..... oops!
Cora totally enjoying herself. She laughed and clapped and when we had to go in to get a new diaper she kept saying "I gonna miss it"... She had a great time.
and some more.....
and alot more.... they went on for a good 45 min i think
Finally the grand finish - the Guys did an excellent job this year. No one got burned or blasted and singed... For the most part the Guys played it safe............4th of July here is definitely something to be excited about here.... Great food, Great friends and an EXCELLENT display of pyros at work.
