This was our second Christmas at my parents house.. The kids had fun putting their ornaments up. When i was little my parents started a tradition with us kids. Every Christmas we were aloud to pick out a special ornament. I enjoyed it so much that i started it with our kids. However, when we go to pick out ornaments they need to have something to do with what the kids are either into or something they have done.
This year Eli picked out a purple car. His favorite color is red, not purple, but because of his daddy he has been into cars big time. Cora's was a pretty ballerina to remember her time taking dance class. Charlie spent a while picking her's out and finally decided on a snow man made of ice - which has nothing to do with anything. We tried to get her to pick Elmo (which she is not longer into - whew) then a Kitty, since we stared feeding one (Bella) or a dog, cause who doesn't like dogs?? Nope, she had her mind set on "Icy".
